Dixon Loading Arms and Gas Equipment Company: The Right Connection for Safe and Efficient Loading
Gas Equipment Company is your local source for Dixon Loading Arms, offering a range of options to meet your transport and fueling needs.
Dixon loading arms give you a more convenient and reliable way of loading tank trucks. Enhancing safety and efficiency in liquid transport, these loading arms are integrated into a connected pipe system. Supported by swivel joints and counterbalances, the interconnected pipes ensure seamless functionality. Their sturdy drop-in design allows for easy maneuverability and hassle-free operation. The arms can hold their floating position regardless of how high or low they are adjusted.
The numerous benefits of Dixon loading arms include enhanced fall prevention and integration with existing safety equipment. Safety features like breakaway couplings and dry disconnect fittings mitigate risks of spills and product releases. Compared to hoses, loading arms offer increased longevity, making them a more efficient choice in the long run. Loading arms also streamline operations, improving throughput capacity.
Whether you need individual parts or tailored assemblies, Dixon loading arms are adaptable to suit each customer's specifications. They are offered in top and bottom loading options. The available sizes include 2”, 3”, and 4” or they can be custom engineered in other sizes and configurations. Pipe leg materials offered are aluminum, carbon steel, and 316 stainless steel. And available seals include nitrile rubber, FKM, low temperature FKM, PTFE, EPDM, and food grade Nitrile.
Dixon Counterbalance
A highlight in the Dixon loading arms is the new Dixon counterbalance, which uses a torsion spring design. It is available in 3 different torsion springs: low, medium, or high, depending on the length and load of the arm. The torch and springs can easily be installed by simply removing the 3 bolts on the side of the counterbalance and placing the new spring inside. The counterbalance offers safety and efficiency by adjusting the floating of the arm, tightening or loosening the adjustment screw located on the bottom of the counterbalance.
